Having made her way from her fixed home base of Berlin, we were delighted to welcome one of the generational pioneers of the L.A. scene—the queen of body moves—the very accomplished DJ and event producer—ALISON SWING!! From co-founding the formative local party series, Dig Deeper, ALISON dove into the Berlin nerve center, where, over seven devoted years, she threw down at some of the most cutting-edge parties in the fabled city (of particular note: her Panorama debut at Berghain and a DJ residency at Buttons!!). It is no secret—her climactic and euphoria-inducing mixes have spun her around the globe, from club floors to festival crowds in over 30 countries. But truly—we were just thrilled to have our sister back with us in the city that shaped her, where she delivered her honest and tasteful selects of sonic treats for the Basement family of eager ears.

And for the opening ceremonials—the lucky 1-2 love punch landed us in the adept hands of key London nightlife flame, RORY PHILLIPS! For the last 25 years, RORY has cast his net wide over a diverse range of parties, including a tenure with Erol Alkan at Trash, his long residency at the legendary Plastic People, and his decade of six-hour vinyl excursions at Chiltern Firehouse. Meanwhile, as a producer, RORY’S tracks have been played by everyone from DJ Harvey to The Chemical Brothers. He connected the dots from disco to post-punk and electronic oddities and set the stage for our ecstatic launch with furious and focused grace…
