HALLOWEEN BASH

Saturday, October 31st

SOME GHOSTS ARE WORTH BRINGING BACK. 👻

This Halloween, we’re going back to where it all began.

For our annual Halloween bash, we’ve invited someone very special back to where it all began.

It is widely known that the Los Angeles DJ community gives universal respect to one man. He carries with him an innate wellspring of dancefloor knowledge and has the ability to bend genres and eras on every known axis. He has worked on all sides of the rubix cube of the music industry and can dig through crates with an eye so perceptive as to allude to magic. This rare human goes by the name of T.K.

He has contributed original production as one half of the local building blocks that are Warehouse Preservation Society and Split Secs, and has stamped his sound on festivals, clubs, and happenings Berlin to Paris, Mexico to the Pacific Northwest. But it is the sibling cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles, where he has accrued a cult like following for his signature expert record selections. He is an honorary affiliate of Sunny Side Up and Wicked — being consistently welcomed by the local legends, and represents one quarter of DISCOS XXX — the mythological music creature that is him, Dave Aju, Tavish, and SONNS.

Truth be told, T.K. was our VERY FIRST GUEST at The Basement. So we thought it only right to conjure this legend back from the crypt for our annual Halloween bash.

Each Halloween, we pay tribute to the musical legends who are no longer with us, bringing their spirit back to the dance floor for one very special night. Come dressed as a musician who has left this world, but whose music most certainly has not. 👻

And back behind the decks is our resident DJ Kerry, a familiar voice from our Basement dublab radio show and a selector whose deep digging and love of the unexpected make her the perfect one to open the crypt and set the night in motion.

Expect the unexpected as the veil is the thinnest and the dance is the hardest…

Come and join the Basement family and spirits on this very Halloween night! 🎃
