The Basement is an independent, community driven dance space. Every ticket and membership directly supports the artists, the sound, the staff, the lights, the bar, and the energy we build together on that floor.

 

We’re not backed by a corporation. We’re backed by you.

 

Clear policies allow us to keep the dance sustainable, fair, and intentional. Thank you for understanding and for being part of this thing we’ve created together.

EVENT TICKET REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

All ticket sales are final.

Because our events are limited capacity and thoughtfully curated in advance, we do not offer refunds for change of plans, travel issues, illness, or personal circumstances.

If The Basement cancels an event, ticket holders will receive either:
• A full refund to the original form of payment
or
• The option to transfer the ticket to a rescheduled date

If an event is postponed, all tickets automatically transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you must contact us within five days of the announcement to request a refund.

Ticket Transfers

If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to gift or sell your ticket to someone else. It’s your responsibility to make sure the new guest has the correct ticket information and understands our entry policies.

Entry & Conduct

All guests must follow Basement community guidelines and venue policies. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to the space. No refunds will be issued in those cases.

Chargebacks

If you have an issue, please reach out to us first. Filing a chargeback without attempting to resolve the matter directly may result in removal from future events and membership privileges.

MEMBERSHIP REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Memberships are offered as recurring or fixed term access passes that provide benefits such as discounted entry, member perks, and priority access.

Refund Policy

All membership purchases are non-refundable. This includes partial months and unused benefits.

We do not prorate memberships.

Cancellation Policy

Recurring memberships may be canceled at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation will stop future billing but does not trigger a refund for the current billing period.

Your membership will remain active through the end of the paid billing cycle.

Failure to attend events does not qualify for a refund.

Membership Revocation

The Basement reserves the right to suspend or revoke a membership without refund if a member violates community guidelines, engages in unsafe conduct, or initiates fraudulent payment disputes.

Membership Evolution

As The Basement grows, membership benefits may evolve. We are committed to maintaining equal or greater value for active members as we continue building this community together.
